Application of CNG PRMS
A CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Pressure Reduction and Metering Station (PRMS) is a critical facility in the natural gas supply chain. It reduces the pressure of CNG from high pressure storage or transport levels to lower pressures suitable for distribution or end-use and accurately measures the gas flow.
Pressure reduction and metering system is used to stabilize the outlet pressure under the condition that the inlet pressure and downstream flow are constantly changing.
Pressure Reduction Station is used for separating of particles, pressure regulating and metering of feed gas received in the station.
Technical Features/Advantages
- CNG pressure regulator inlet pressure from 250Bar, 200Bar, outlet pressure based on customer requirements, from 2Kpa to 4Bar;
- PRMS with electric heating and gas boiler heating options;
- Customized design and reliable performance for different environment;
- The configuration determines the quality and stability of the pressure regulating and metering skid to a large extent.
